Respite Care at Whittier Health Network

The daily care and medical needs of a family member can be overwhelming and
exhausting, especially during the holiday season. If you are a caregiver and
in need of a much deserved break, please contact one of our nursing homes to
inquire about our Respite Care Services. We provide 24 hour a day nursing
care to address a variety of medical needs. Semi-private and private
accommodations are available on a bed availability basis. Meals, laundry
services and activities are included. Most importantly, you can be assured
your loved one is receiving compassionate care backed by Whittier's
reputation for delivering quality healthcare throughout New England for over
26 years.

Expanding our comprehensive pediatric care - Whittier Rehabilitation Hospital-Bradford welcomes Sue Luscomb OTR/L

Susan Luscomb, OTR/L, founder of Angel Care OT Center, is now on staff at Whittier Rehabilitation Hospital-Bradford to provide comprehensive care to the children in this community. Susan Luscomb is an OT with over 25 years’ experience. She is SIPT Certified (Sensory Integration and Praxis Test) with advanced training in sensory processing disorders. She comprehensively treats pediatric disorders. She is now on staff at Whittier Rehabilitation Hospital as an Occupational Therapy Clinical Specialist and not only will provide excellence in care for children but will also have a supervisory role in the outpatient occupational therapy department.

Seventeenth Annual TOURNAMENT OF HOPE a success!

On Monday, June 29, 2009 Whittier Rehabilitation Hospital-Bradford hosted its 17th Annual Tournament of Hope. Celebrity players, including Steve Nelson and Garin Varis (among others) joined over 120 other golfers at the Haverhill Country Club for an afternoon of golf, while helping to fund the research needed to find a cure for paralysis and to help people with disabilities. The day’s events included dinner, a silent auction, raffle, closest to the pin, longest drive and a hole in one contest.
