You, all, made this difficult time for us easier to bear, knowing that when we left there visiting him, he would still be in excellent hands. Whittier Rehabilitation & Skilled Nursing Center welcomes new Medical Directors Dr. Davis and Dr. Pregont.

 

Effective April 1, 2014, Whittier Rehabilitation & Skilled Nursing Center would like to welcome George F. Davis, MD as their new Medical Director, and Scott Pregont, MD as the new Medical Director for Sub-Acute Rehabilitative Services.

George F. Davis, MD practices complete family care.  He is a magna cum laude graduate of Harvard University and received his M.D. Degree from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Columbia University.  He is Board Certified in hospice care.  Dr. Davis completed advanced bioethics courses at Georgetown University’s Kennedy Institute of Ethics. 

Dr. Scott M. Pregont is a sports medicine specialist with training in the non-operative management of musculoskeletal conditions.  He is a native of the Capital Region and obtained his medical degree from Albany Medical College.  He stayed at Albany Medical Center to complete his residency in Family Medicine.  Upon completing his residency, Dr. Pregont completed a Primary Care Sports Medicine Fellowship with Geisinger Health Systems in Pennsylvania. 

Whittier Rehabilitation & Skilled Nursing Center is excited to have joined with these highly credentialed, energetic and compassionate physicians who exemplify Whittier’s philosophy of being “dedicated to your well-being.”  Their passion for high quality patient care and involvement with the community in which they live and practice will be assets to the family of professionals at Whittier Rehabilitation & Skilled Nursing Center and to all of our residents.
