To the staff at Whittier Pavilion, West Wing: I want to express appreciation and gratitude to the Whittier Pavilion staff who cared for my son during his stay in the West Wing. I was moved by the friendly greetings, tireless attention, genuine concern, ceaseless patience, gentle words, kind encouragement, ready smiles, and loving care you showed him. Thank you to all who helped — receptionists, attendants, food service, custodians, nurses, insurance representatives, security, clerical — the proverbial “village.” You reated my son with respect and dignity. You gave him help and hope. Thank you, with sincere respect, Cynthia R.
