| Whittier has expanded its services and can now provide specialty care designed for medically complex patients who require a longer length of stay. Patients are admitted following treatment in the traditional acute care hospital but they no longer require intensive diagnostic procedures. The care provided is more individualized and resource-intensive than what is provided in a sub-acute or skilled nursing facility. | |||||||||||

| Whether coming directly from our inpatient facility, following Home Health Services or just from your Primary Care Physician, the Outpatient Center at Whittier can assist you with any therapy needs. Caring for patients with Orthopedic/Sports Medicine injuries, Neurologic Disorders, Pediatrics, Medically Complex Conditions or Pain Management, the Outpatient Center at Whittier is equipped to assist you with your recovery. Our enormous gym covers over 1600 square feet and is filled with state of the art equipment and the Aquatics Department has 2 pools, one cool pool and our heated pool with temperatures over 90 degrees. In addition to our highly trained Rehab staff including Physiatrist, Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech Language Pathologists, our specialty clinics and services allow all of your needs to be met in one building.
