I would always tell my friends that I would feel better when I left than when I arrived because I could see the care and love my mother received. Staff like Renee and Martha and Crystal and Hilda and Sean and all the nurses on Gould just to mention a few, made our family feel so safe. Location: Marion, MA - Sippican Healthcare Center

Staff Development Coordinator - Part Time 32 hours/week

Primary Responsibilities:
• Plans, implements, directs and evaluates the education program in the facility based on identified resident needs and provides the Administrator and Director of Nursing Services with comprehensive recommendations concerning the educational needs of all facility personnel.
• Plans, schedules and posts a monthly calendar of education programs in a timely manner.

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current registration in MA. R.N.B.S. desirable, graduation from accredited 3 year program or R.N.A.C. acceptable.
• Formal preparation and/or experience in training of adult groups preferred.
• At least 3 years of nursing experience as a registered nurse.
• Knowledge of Restorative Nursing Practices preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communications skills required.
• Knowledge of State, Federal and J.C.A.H.O. regulations preferred.
• Knowledge of growth and development across the life span required.
