Daniel’s House Nurses and Staff: My sisters and I would like to thank you for all the wonderful care that you all gave our mother for the last three years of her life. We must tell you that you all were great to her and we always felt comfortable when ever we came to see her, it was like having an extended family. The nurses were just fantastic with us when ever we had questions or concerns for mom, even though we knew at times we bothered you with something small or perhaps not as important to you as it was to us, you never let us know. We will always feel that we found a gem in Daniel’s House.

Purchasing Assistant - Full Time Monday-Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm

Primary Responsibilities:

• Looking for an organized, detail oriented assistant to join our busy Materials Management/Purchasing office.
• Coordinates and maintains data entry records of accounts, supplies and cost for each servicing facility or vendor, via Purchasing software. 
• Operates telephone, screens calls, takes messages and routes calls appropriately and with accuracy.
• Provides clerical duties including screening visitors, making appointments, typing, faxing and copying.
• Maintains Materials and Purchasing filing systems. 
• Controls and accounts for all purchase orders issued by Materials Management.
• Types with accuracy and prepares reports for departmental and accounting purposes.
• Distributes departmental correspondence, purchase orders, invoice discrepancies, credit orders, change orders, requests for quotation. 
• Sorts incoming and outgoing departmental mail.
• Ensures the proper document flow between Materials Management and network facilities according to policies and procedures.
• Maintains entering new equipment purchased into TELS Equipment Log for all facilities.
• Reviews rental equipment usage by facility and prepares quarterly reports for review.
• Maintains and organizes Corporate file documents.

• High School diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of Workplace a plus.
• Must be able to prioritize, work independently and interact with co‐workers.
• Must have a strong attention to detail, as well as strong communication and organizational skills 
• Practical knowledge of standard and usual business office machines.
• Working knowledge of and competency in word processing operation, emphasis on Word.
• Typing ability of 60 wpm accurately.
