Maintenance Supervisor

Location: Reading, MA - Daniels House Nursing Home

Maintenance Supervisor - Full Time 40 hours/week Monday through Friday

Primary Responsibilities:
• Duties include general repairs of the facility and upkeep of the grounds.
• Performs carpet/floor care regularly and as needed.
• Uses supplies and equipment via workplace software.
• Collects all maintenance Repair Orders (MRO) daily at designated locations; performs repairs and signs MRO's to verify completion.
• Upon completion of MRO's, performs work from project list as prioritized by upper management.
• Provides weekend and holiday coverage for on-call services as needed.
• Adheres to building codes, JCAHO codes and life safety codes established by government agencies and insurance companies.
• Observes all facility fire, safety policies and procedures.
• Comes to work in a clean and neat uniform and as scheduled and consistently demonstrates dependability and punctuality.
• Follows all OSHA regulations.
• May run errands with own transportation as assigned.

• Graduate of high school or GED or vocational school required.
• At least 3 years work experience in general repair and maintenance.
• Ability to initiate and complete written reports as assigned.
• Must have valid driver's license and dependable transportation.
• Previous experience in a health care setting preferred.
• Must be computer literate.
