Dear Ms. Grasso, I just wanted to take a minute to commend you and your staff. My mother, Gilberte H., has been in and out of Port Rehab since November 2018. It does help when I am there and witness the care and compassion extended to her in her time of need. I wish I could think of the names of all the staff there who I feel have not only done their job well, but went over and above, but I will mention the few names that stand out to me. Cara has been especially patient and kind with Mom. Paul makes her smile and laugh, and the one who really prompted me to even think to write this letter is David. I believe he’s an LPN; he administers her medications. He treats her with incredible compassion, gentleness, and kindness and allows her the dignity she deserves. I don’t want to leave out all the Occupational and Physical Therapists who work with Mom. They are all exceptionally professional and wonderful. Patient Account Representative - Outpatient Full Time Monday-Friday

Looking for a FT Patient Account Representative to join our corporate billing department.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Uploads charges daily into the billing software for two Rehabilitation Hospitals.
• Reviews intakes received from both Hospitals for accuracy.
• Maintains a weekly spreadsheet of patient bills that were sent out. Forwards sheet to both Hospitals to assist in collection of patient revenue. 
• Maintains a weekly spreadsheet of outstanding referral requests sent to both Outpatient departments.
• Assists in maintaining and billing patient bills for both Hospitals.
• Maintains patient accounting files in an organized manner to ensure ease of retrieval consistent with patient confidentiality.
• Assists with problem accounts and/or families with complaints/disputes.

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Confidence with computer systems and office equipment required.
• Must possess a high level of confidentiality, organization and attention to detail.
• 1 year experience with 3rd party billing preferred.
• Previous experience using an automated billing system preferred.
