I cannot say enough about the wonderful care and support Hannah Duston provides! Our Dad was in and out of hospitals and rehabs for years and Hannah Duston was the first facility to diagnose him, which led to us getting him the support he needed. So when our Mom fell and broke her hip and was being transferred to skilled nursing, we immediately requested Hannah Duston.
Our Mom is 80 years old, so when she broke her hip we immediately started preparing for her to move to a nursing home. But with a 360 approach to her well-being including physical therapy, occupational therapy and nursing (along with her own stubborn determination!), she is going home, stronger than she has been in years and much better educated about her own self care. Michaela, Maryanne, Angela and the entire team of professionals listened to the family’s concerns and not only treated the injury but addressed the underlying issues that led to the fall in the first place. Of course Mom will need a lot of help and support at home, but for the first time in years, we are breathing a little easier, knowing she is armed with the tools she needs to stay safely at home for as long as she is willing to put in the work. Thank you to the entire team at Hannah Duston!.
