Dear Ms. Grasso, I just wanted to take a minute to commend you and your staff. My mother, Gilberte H., has been in and out of Port Rehab since last November. It does help when I am there and witness the care and compassion extended to her in her time of need. I wish I could think of the names of all the staff there who I feel have not only done their job well, but went over and above, but I will mention the few names that stand out to me. Cara has been especially patient and kind with Mom. Paul makes her smile and laugh, and the one who really prompted me to even think to write this letter is David. He treats her with incredible compassion, gentleness, and kindness and allows her the dignity she deserves. I don’t want to leave out all the Occupational and Physical Therapists who work with Mom. They are all exceptionally professional and wonderful. Thank you for caring enough to have a facility which seems to encourage care for those who are in dire need of compassion.
