“My brother Brian was a patient at Whittier for almost 3 months after a severe hemorrhagic stroke and brain surgery at the end of January, although sadly Brian passed away on July 28th I am comforted in the fact that he was cared for with respect and dignity right up until his last night. From the first hours he was admitted to Whittier we knew this place was special and if anyone could help him it would be here. From the nurses, and forgive me if I don’t remember everyone, Jessica, Kim, Vanessa, the case managers, NaDarron Fort, everyone in therapy, Kim and Deb from admissions you all tried the best you could to help him, I mean there was nothing that wasn’t done for him! Things didn’t go the way we all hoped, but our whole family is thankful.”
