“Dear Dr. Liguori, I am writing to tell you how appreciative I am for the care I received while I was in the transitional care unit last month. The staff was excellent, caring, attentive, and professional. It’s a scary thing to have knee replacement and be so dependent on the care of others, and the care I received was excellent.
In particular, my physical therapist, Caroline, was amazing. I was afraid of doing the exercises, especially the knee bends and she was both encouraging and forceful, despite my protests. I left there able to bend my knee 77 degrees which amazed my surgeon and Emerson Home Care. The nurses and CNAs were wonderful, too, helpful and right on top of things. I expected that Whittier would be good, but it is way better than good. “
