On May 25, 2014, my wife, Janice H., passed away at the age of 49, due to complications from a 28 year battle with multiple sclerosis. She had been under the great care of Oak Knoll Healthcare Center for over eleven years. She was treated with the utmost respect and dignity that could ever be expected. Some of the staff went above and beyond to make her life as comfortable as possible. I have to write you this letter to tell you how much my family and myself appreciate what Oak Knoll did for Janice in helping her ”live” at Oak Knoll for eleven years. Thank you for providing a safe and comfortable environment for Janice. Sincerely, Harold C. H. III

Charity Fundraiser Wine Tasting a Big Success!

On November 21, The Whittier Health Network Charitable Foundation and Elder Services of the Merrimack Valley, Inc. hosted a wine tasting at Whittier Rehabilitation Hospital in Bradford.

The turnout was great - we had about 100 attendees and we raised about $5000. Everyone enjoyed fine wines, music & a silent auction in support of a worthy cause! About 40 percent of the proceeds were donated to support Elder Services of the Merrimack Valley, Inc.

The Whittier Health Network Charitable Foundation is a 501c3 nonprofit private foundation whose primary mission is to improve healthcare, rehabilitation medicine, elderly, and education to benefit individuals at Whittier Health Network service areas.
