Robert C. Fisher, RN, MBA-HCM, MSN

Director of Nursing Services

With over 15 years of progressive leadership in high-volume hospitals, trauma centers, and acute care settings, Fisher brings a patient-focused mindset and proven expertise in nursing operations, staff development, and quality improvement to the role. He oversees nursing operations at the Bradford facility, ensuring the delivery of compassionate, high-caliber care aligned with Whittier’s family-centered approach. His extensive background includes spearheading nursing teams in Level III trauma centers, managing multimillion-dollar budgets, and driving initiatives that enhance patient outcomes, regulatory compliance, and staff morale.

Fisher most recently served as Nurse Director at MGB – Hospital in Salem, MA, where he led a 24 bed cardiology/IV therapy unit. Under his leadership, the organization achieved top rankings in Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) scores and fostering a cohesive, dynamic, and patient-focused culture.

Fisher holds a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) in Patient Care Services Administration from Sacred Heart University (GPA 4.0), a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Health System Management from Grand Canyon University (GPA 3.95), and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Merrimack College. He is a Registered Nurse in Massachusetts and certified in ACLS, BLS, CPR, and AED by the American Heart Association. His accolades include the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, Mary D. Brown Memorial Award, and the Pillars of Excellence Award for the Central Line-Associated Bloodstream Infections (CLABSI) Team.
