I was so relieved when my grandmother wound up at Hannah Duston. She had been at other facilities that A: she didn’t like or B: I didn’t like. The facility was always clean and the staff members were always good to her. They were amenable to little requests, like using special soap for her showers or making her tea off-schedule. She lived in a double room with a roommate. It wasn’t fancy, but it was clean and spacious enough for her needs.
