Dr. Ansari graduated from medical school with Honors in 1996, after which he started his residency training in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. He also earned a Masters Degree in Public Health from Harvard School of Public Health. He is a physician leader with a passion for Patient Safety, Quality Care & Patient Experience. He has a solid background in Process Improvement. He is now working on finishing his Master Black Belt training in Lean Six Sigma from Ohio State University.
Dr. Ansari held many hospital leadership positions including the Director of the Good Samaritan Sleep Center in Cincinnati Ohio, the Director of the Intensive Care Unit at North Shore Medical Center Union Hospital and now he is the Director of the Intensive Care Unit at Holy Family Hospital as well as the Chief of Medicine. Dr. Ansari is known to work closely with hospitals’ leadership to improve Patient Experience, which is what he prides himself on being known for.
Dr. Ansari enjoys an excellent reputation in the community as an intensivist and pulmonologist in Haverhill MA. He served as the Vice President for the Essex North District of the Mass Medical Society, a member of the Quality of Medical Practice Committee of Mass Medical Society and he is currently a Board Member in the Respiratory Care Board of Massachusetts. In 2018, he founded InCare, a company that provides medical staffing and consulting for hospitals in operations as well as physicians’ engagement and leadership.
