Whittier has provided me an opportunity to grow my career. I moved from Brazil in 2001 and started working at Oak Knoll in 2007 as a CNA, and in 2009, I became the Activities Director. I love the residents, and it’s an honor to be part of their lives while providing much-needed leisure and distractions to them, especially while living in difficult times such as during this devastating pandemic. Some of my coworkers are like family to me.
