When skilled nursing facilities go through CPDC™ training, it sends a message to the community that they are committed to taking optimal care of their residents with Parkinson disease (PD). For residents and their families, this expertise is reassuring and can provide great comfort when considering options for a loved one that requires short term rehabilitation or long term care.

Ryan Barry, Administrator at Oak Knoll Healthcare Center said: “We are proud to be, again this year, a CPDC-certified facility. It is something our advocate task team here at Oak Knoll does a great job keeping on top of. It is a great value that we can provide to the community, and it shows our commitment in providing a safe and high-quality care facility. I would like to thank all of the Oak Knoll staff who helped in gaining this certification, and also the PMD Alliance group, who provided us with the opportunity to be a CPDC certified facility.

We’re excited to continue giving great care to our community!

The PMD Alliance is an independent, national nonprofit on a mission to empower people impacted by movement disorders with the tools and meaningful connections they need to thrive today.  Read more about their work.
