Dad delivered!
I delivered Dad today to Golden Hill in Kingston, NY!!! It’s been a long day. Thank you to everyone who cared for him along the way. His downsizing began 3 weeks before the pandemic hit when we moved him into Cape Cod Senior Residence in Pocasset, MA. run by Mike LeBrun. Ironically his last place in MA. was at Sippican in Marion, MA run by Peter LeBrun, Mike’s brother. Both extraordinary places! Extraordinary men. The staff at both places were stellar and a huge shout out and thanks to everyone along the way!! …he has been steadily improving however not to assisted living level of care. I am thrilled to have him nearby something that hasn’t transpired in 50 years!!! Of course we visited each other often no matter where we were. The transport company could not have been better! So, again, thank you all for supporting him and keeping his spirits up through very difficult times!
