Dear Ms. Roman: I was recently a patient at Whittier, and wanted to give you some feedback. I don’t think I could have had better treatment anywhere. Staff, from clinical through to housekeeping, were uniformly pleasant and helpful. I’d like to thank everyone on the nursing and therapy staff for their cheerful help and support, and hope you’ll pass these comments on to them. I am an attorney, and most of my practice has been with the mentally ill, their families and treaters, and I’ve worked with a couple of dozen different hospitals. But being a patient gives you a different perspective. ‘Simple’ things, like great food that everyone looks forward to, are therapeutic in themselves. Again, please thank the entire staff on my behalf.
